Borno Ski Area

Just a short distance from Brescia and Cremona, the Borno - Monte Altissimo ski resort is perfect for those who have never practised winter sports before, thanks to the nursery slope equipped with a beginner's mat and the large lineup of ski instructors available.

If you pass through here, don't miss the new snowpark, designed by national snowboard team coach Roberto Moresi. Not surprisingly, the snowpark has quickly become a popular destination for enthusiasts. The five available lifts offer slopes of low, medium and high difficulty. 

Here you will also catch a glimpse of many squirrels, in the woods just below the summit of Mount Altissimo: simply pick up a passport to be stamped at the refuge to begin a walk in the Squirrel Woods trails, punctuated by informative stages designed for young children. And the little ones can also enjoy the Bike Kids Area, designed in collaboration with BornOnBike which promises adrenaline-fueled rides in the saddle. 

A week’s skiing in the Borno Ski Area can also be an eventful experience. Rifugio Monte Altissimo and Barissimo, with their breathtaking views of the peaks, promise plenty of relaxation and a tasty gastronomic break, while numerous DJ sets and parties manage to entertain everyone.
