On the southern side of the Rhaetian Alps, along the upper banks of the Oglio river goind down the Adamello, the valley features its most famous localities, Darfo Boario Terme and Ponte di Legno.
 

Camonica valley. This mountain location is best known for being adorned by the peaks of Gavia, the Adamello, Pizzo and the Tre Signori in the horizon. With bike friendly accommodations at the Tonale Pass, Ponte di Legno is the ideal destination for sportive tourism: trekking, mtb, fat bike on the snow and street cycling, boasting a new bike lane that goes all the way to Lake Iseo. Besides Ponte di Legno at the Camonica Valley, you can go skiing to Aprica, Montecampione and Borno.

The therapeutic properties of the waters of Darfo Boario Terme have been praised even by writers like Alessandro Manzoni: They will reinvigorate whoever seeks to relax with convenient packages that include outdoor activities as well. Not far from there, Angolo Terme adds an important destination for thermal bath enthusiasts. The Naquare Cave Engravings Park is the pride and joy of Capo di Ponte, with its neolithic mysteries engraved on solid rock: there will be about 300.000 symbols and signs, plus countles images that are waiting to be discovered.

Go south and stop by a piece of Lombard Middle Ages at the Castle of Breno, while the nearby locality of Bieno is considered as one of the most Beautiful Boroughs in Italy. The valleys culinary scene is vast and refined, specially the cheese-making tradition of the Alpeggio and prized wine labels as well.
