Ski Museum
Aprica is home to a unique museum: the Ski and Mountain Museum.
Its history began in 2006, when Elio Negri decided to put together a collection not to be missed by lovers of the sport. Here it is indeed possible to trace the evolution of skiing, from the first rudimentary wooden skis to modern race skis.
Among the most interesting pieces are a pair of wooden skis from the 1890s, among the oldest in the world; skis used by Zeno Colò, the Olympic alpine skiing champion; and numerous downhill models from the 1960s and 1970s, with their sinuous and colorful shapes.
In 2023, the museum moved to 150 Corso Roma, above the Infopoint
