Torre "de li beli miri"
In a dominant position over Valtellina, the tower is the symbol of Teglio
Located on a hill south of the town, in a dominant position over Valtellina, and with an unrivalled view of the panorama, the Torre "de li beli miri” is considered to be the symbol of Teglio.
This is what remains of the Medieval castle built on the ruins of a previous Roman castle, with a square layout and a number of embrasures as well as the usual raised access.
Over the years, starting in the Nineteenth century, a number of works were carried out to enhance its grandeur.
The tower, surrounded by a pine grove, is a splendid place to admire the view of the valley.
Guided tours are available of the interior at certain times of the year.
