Il viaggio della fiamma olimpica
The Olympic flame will arrive from Valtellina, after descending the lake, with a passage through the municipalities of Menaggio, Bellagio, Colico, Varenna, Mandello del Lario and Abbadia Lariana, then concluding the day with its arrival in Lecco.
From 5:00 p.m. "Olympic Village" in Piazza Garibaldi: stands of organizers and sponsors, while institutional speeches and the story of the Games, with some highlights and celebratory moments, will take turns on stage.
At 6:30 p.m. from Lungolario Piave, in the Caviate area: departure of the first of the torchbearers kicking off the relay race that will see 22 personalities accompanying the flame along the streets of the city, each running their own fraction of 200 meters, to arrive in Piazza Garibaldi around 7:30 p.m.
