Valmalenco Ecofauna Association
The Valmalenco Ecofauna Association - Bambi's Home is a volunteer association established in January 2023 in the mountains of Valtellina.
The Association was created to give a new home to Bambi the deer, a two-year-old male deer that unfortunately grew up in a domestic environment and therefore is no longer able to return to the wild. Thanks to the support of many volunteers and donors, a wildlife oasis has been created in the upper Valmalenco, an enchanting natural space that aims to house ungulates and promote the conscious enjoyment of wildlife, defense of the environment, and of the territory thanks to the volunteer work of its members.
At the end of 2023 we have included two more female deer taken from the Peio wildlife oasis of the Trentino Stelvio Park.
For Schools, groups or for families the Association offers many educational, creative and play activities: all themed NATURE and ENVIRONMENT!
It is possible to choose between trekking and hiking or guided tours to discover the Oasis, the animals and all their curiosities, popular workshops for adults or aperitifs and themed scientific events.
