Infopoint Tremezzina
A window on the lake and an information point in Tremezzina, in the center of Lake Como
The Infopoint is located next to Tremezzo dock, easily accessible for those visiting the village or those walking the Greenway del lago di Como, an easy scenic trail that runs through the entire municipality.
The information point offers information on events, attractions, means of transport and itineraries, providing assistance to visitors of Tremezzina, one of the largest and most fascinating municipalities on the western branch of Lake Como. It also provides information and promotional materials on the local and regional area.
Tremezzina municipality includes the villages of Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra and Tremezzo, with their characteristic historic centers, splendid villas and gardens, Romanesque and Baroque churches and lakeside promenades.
The area also offers some of the most evocative panoramic views of the central lake area, celebrated in the Lake Como Landscape Museum inside Villa Mainona: Comacina Island, the only island of Lake Como, the promontory of Dosso del Lavedo with the magnificent Villa del Balbianello, the Sacro Monte di Ossuccio (Sacred Mountain with Sanctuary) a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering a magnificent view of the Bellagio promontory rising towards Monte San Primo and the mountains in the background, among which the two unmistakable peaks of Grigna and Grignetta stand out.
