Bellagio, placed in the point where Lake Como divides in two branches, it is a natural jewel, tank its particular geologic statement. Villa Melzi d’Eril Gardens

On the lakeshore in Bellagio, this villa was built for Duke Francesco Melzi d’Eril and today is still a private property. The spectacular garden is open to the public for visiting. It was achieved by adapting the ground with terraces and rises, adding tropical and exotic essences, valuable sculptures among which stands the famous group with Dante and Beatrice, a Moorish temple and a Japanese pond.. The access to the park is allowed from march to the end of october.

Villa Serbelloni

Villa Serbelloni, not to be confused with Grand Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, is located in the upper land of the town. Now it is property of Rockefeller Foundation, it is available to visit only the garden, during the opening times only by authorized guided tours. To discover the amazing garden and lost the road into the maze of alleys immersed into the green, the best choice is a calm and peaceful walk to enjoy the breath-taking view of the point where Lake Como is divided in two branches, where the stone of Bellagio has resisted to the strength of the glacier that created this natural masterpiece. The visits planned for groups min. 6 visitors, last about an hour and half; the visits are organized from march to November.
