MASTERPIECE FOR LECCO 2025
Family Lexicon. The Bellini workshop and the dawn of the Renaissance in Venice.
On display are three masterpieces housed in as many galleries:
-the Madonna and Child by Jacopo Bellini, a painting made in tempera on panel transported on canvas datable to around 1450 and kept in the Galleria dell'Accademia Tadini in Lovere;
-the Madonna and Child by Giovanni Bellini, a painting made in tempera on panel dated to the artist's earliest production between 1450 and 1460 and preserved in the Pinacoteca Malaspina in Pavia;
-the Birth of the Virgin from Jacopo Bellini's workshop with the direct involvement of his sons Giovanni and Gentile, a painting in tempera on canvas, dated 1465 and preserved in the Savoy Gallery of the Royal Museums in Turin.

HOURS: Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Through Jan. 6 only Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Mondays and December 25.
Special openings:
-06, Dec. 13, 20, 27 and Jan. 03 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m;
-08 December, 26 December and 06 January from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm;
-December 24 and 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m;
-January 01 from 14:00 to 18:00.
The exhibition ticket office is open until half an hour before the exhibition closes.
