Alt(r)o Festival 2025

Alt(r)o festival\r\ suggests walks, meetings and artistic paths to learn about and explore mountain landscapes. Thefestival stems from the desire to make Valmalenco known outside the usual schemes, to make people discover hidden corners, forgotten places, inconspicuous details, to teach how to get lost consciously, forgetting the need to have a destination: walks with authors, performances, concerts, workshops and sports in close contact with trees, woods, pastures and rocks, to live an intuitive and sharp experience in nature.

All festival events are free of charge.

Sept. 13 and 14: Sports and Mountains
Two days dedicated to exploring the mountains through sport and immersion in nature
Appointment with tightrope walking experts: High line at Fora Falls.
It will be possible to follow the athletes in the walk suspended in the void from the path leading to the Longoni refuge

Sept. 20 and 21: Author's Walks
Unexpected life on the glacier: discovery walk with Barbara Valle
Going for bivouacs: 100 years of emotions in a box: author's walk with Luca Gibello
Literary aperitif: literary salon with tasting with Anna Sustersic
Wrapped by larches, covered by stars: experience in nature with Andrea Mori

Sept. 27 and 28: Artistic and cultural pathways
Heart of rock: site-specific performance with approach walk, with Katia Della Fonte
Immersed: forest immersion with Andrea Mori
