The Fountain of the Four Seasons
The Fountain of the Four Seasons is located in Milan's Piazzale Giulio Cesare in the modern setting and park City Life.
With its majesty it attracts attention and is a meeting place for a relaxing break in the hectic Milan.
It dates back to 1927 and was the work of architect Renzo Gorla.
From a technical point of view, the fountain is 58 meters long and up to 18 meters wide in the central part, inside which there are four statues depicting, through symbologies related to classical mythology, the four seasons.
The fountain also consists of three joined pools and creates striking water features. During the evening hours this spectacle is even more beautiful to see due to the colors that alternate and change continuously in the different jets.
You can reach the fountain with the red line of the subway by getting off at the Amendola stop and walking a little way. The fountain is not immediately visible if you come from the street, but it is slightly hidden by the park in front of it. Visiting it is always possible, every day and even in the evening hours, so as not to miss the spectacle of the waterworks.
