Monza - The City, the Park, the Racetrack

"Monza – The City, the Park, and the Racetrack", the exhibition and contest hosted at the Galleria Civica on the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, returns in 2026

Opening: Saturday, September 5, at 6:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony: Sunday, September 13, at 6:00 p.m.

THEME
Artists are invited to depict the city of Monza, the Park, and the Autodrome

HOW TO ENTER
The contest is open to all artists aged 15 or older.
Participants must adhere to the proposed theme. Participants may submit a maximum of two works. 
The registration fee is €10.00, to be paid (in cash) upon submission to the APS – Associazione Scuola di Pittura e delle Arti Alessandro Conti, to partially cover organizational expenses.

All artistic disciplines are accepted: painting, sculpture, mosaic, installations, photography, etc. The technique, genre, and format of the work are at the artist’s discretion.
Paintings must be equipped with a hanger and preferably submitted without glass. Framing is optional. Works on paper must be mounted on canvas or a rigid, durable backing.
The artist’s signature must not appear on the work. Upon submission, the works will be numbered, and each artist will be assigned a reference number

TECHNICAL JURY
It will consist of five qualified individuals, whose judgment is final.
The criteria for evaluating the works are: 
A. the effectiveness of the communication
B. the originality of the work
C. execution and technique

PUBLIC JURY
All visitors to the exhibition, from September 5 through 4:00 p.m. on September 13, 2026, may vote for their three favorite works, following the instructions provided on site. The work that receives the most votes will win the “People’s Choice Award”
