Guided tour of the exhibition focusing on the meaning, value and techniques of engraving: from the burin to the etching, from the lapis manner to the woodcut a fascinating journey to discover ancient graphics, reading and interpreting inscriptions and initials. We will be accompanied by the works of the masters, from Raphael to Hayez, from Gustave Dorè to Giuseppe Longhi to follow the long journey of prints from the Renaissance to Romantic illustrations.
