A guided tour of the Civic Museums, discovering the art treasures that tell the story of over 2,000 years of history: from the Roman city to contemporary art, from the 17th century to the masterpieces of Pompeo Mariani, Mosè Bianchi, Giovanni Fattori, Anselmo Bucci, Arturo Martini, and many others, concluding with an emotional “meeting” with the Nun of Monza in the interactive area dedicated to her, her story, and the Betrothed.

In the footsteps of the Nun of Monza (Guided tour from the museum to the city)
Sister Virginia, the famous Lady of Monza of the Novel, lives again in the rooms of the Civic Museums: her portrait comes to life and tells us about her story, while Alessandro Manzoni tells of his meeting with Marianna de Leyva and his tragic love story. A guided tour of the museum, including the works on display and the multimedia area, then continuing through the historic center to discover the places that served as the backdrop to the historical event (exteriors only).
