OPEN from June 20th until mid-September. At weekends from the end of May
until the beginning of October.
The Longoni hut is a starting point for hikes to Piz Tremoggia, Piz Malenco, Sassa d’Entova, Sassa di Fora, Piz Gluschaint, Sasso Nero, Val di Fex and the mountain shelters in the Bernina group.
AS IT IS REACHED: starting from Chiareggio (follow the signs) the path rises gently until it reaches the Alpe Fora and Fora plain. The last stretch of the itinerary leads to the panoramic terrace on which the shelter was built. The shelter can also be reached from San Giuseppe by following part of the trail accessible by offroad vehicles.
