Visit Pavia Showcases Local Excellence

On the occasion of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the Province of Pavia brings to Milan a sensory and cultural experience that tells the authentic story of its territory. On February 16–17, 2026, at the prestigious De Montel Thermal Baths in Milan, Visit Pavia presents Excellence, Flavours and Stories from the Land of Fine Living: an event dedicated to media representatives and tourism and hospitality professionals (HO.RE.CA) to highlight a region rich in traditions, outstanding products, and unique experiences.

An immersive journey through taste and culture

The initiative is designed as a narrative and tasting experience that combines the scenic and gastronomic richness of the Province of Pavia with the skill and creativity of its producers. The program includes:

• Guided tastings of top local products, from wines to traditional cured meats, from cheeses to agricultural specialties that express the culinary identity of Pavia;

• Live cooking experiences, where selected chefs will prepare dishes blending contemporary techniques with traditional ingredients, pairing each course with stories from the territory;

• An immersive convivial space designed to encourage interaction between industry professionals and the leading figures of Pavia’s excellence.

From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, guests will be welcomed into an environment created to stimulate the senses and deepen their understanding of the culture and productions of one of Italy’s most historically rich and flavorful provinces.
