Mothers celebrating
How many moms in the museum! Painted or sculpted, from many years ago or supermodern, human or animal, mothers are often there in art… we will be able to explore the museum, see many different works and take inspiration from our favorite figure: we will make a beautiful artistic card for Mother's Day! Saturday, May 9

Sunday, May 10
Mom, I’ll take you to the museum!
On Mother’s Day, why not spend an afternoon at the museum with your family? A guided tour will take place through rooms filled with beautifully painted and sculpted jewelry. Get inspired and, in the workshop, create a lovely pendant to give to your mom!

Saturday, May 16
Little bees at work
On the occasion of World Bee Day (May 20), we will take inspiration from the landscapes painted in the museum to create a magnificent flowering meadow in the workshop, where everyone can make their own bee fly, crafted from recycled materials and bright colors!

Sunday, May 17
With eyes and hands: a museum to touch and explore
When we visit a museum, we mainly rely on sight… but what happens when we can’t? Let’s discover together how to explore the Civic Museums using our other senses. Special objects will guide us in discovering the artworks in new ways, along with a story that will accompany us from room to room! After the sensory exploration, we will create a small keepsake of our experience using a variety of materials.

Saturday, May 23
Stone slippers
Museums are full of objects: some are sculpted, others painted, many are still in use today, while others are so unusual we wouldn’t know how to use them! Artists also use great imagination in depicting them. Let’s choose an object we like and transform it into… a work of art in the workshop!

Sunday, May 24
Journey through the museum
Did you know you can discover distant worlds without leaving the city? Let’s set off together on an exciting and adventurous journey through the Civic Museums. We’ll explore exotic places, distant cultures, and unspoiled nature thanks to the precious works of painters who captured them for us. And that’s not all: in the workshop, we’ll illustrate our own personal “travel journal” to remember this special adventure.

Saturday, May 30
Adventure in the land of paintings
“Once upon a time, in a painting…” Beyond a frame, we can discover magical landscapes, curious characters, and funny little animals with stories to tell. In this narrative experience, paintings become the stages of a story created and illustrated together, using artworks as the “images” of a story that is different every time.

Sunday, May 31
Landscapes from the museum!
Oil painting, pencil drawing, watercolor, fresco… there are so many ways to depict landscapes in art! Together we will admire many different landscapes, learning techniques and tricks to recreate the one we like best—just like real artists!

A Magical Winter
Winter is when nature rests, quiet and silent. Many animals hibernate in dens, and most trees are bare, with branches drawing intricate twists and turns. Let's look for the winter season painted in the works, and in the workshop we will make an interpretation of nature's winter sleep.

Saturday, January 3, 2026 3:30 pm

We draw art in the family / Speciale Family Lab Abbonamento Musei
On the occasion of Disegniamo l'arte, the special event promoted by Abbonamento Musei Lombardia, dedicated to children and families to discover local museums through drawing and creativity, the museum is organizing a special Family Lab. We will go together to the museum to discover the most beautiful works that represent natural elements: we will draw leaves, flowers, animals and fruits “hidden” in the works of art in person, and then in the classroom we will be able to unleash our imagination and color our fantastic creatures!

Saturday, April 25, 2026 - 3:30 PM

Sunday, April 26, 2026 - 3:30 PM
Once upon a time there was a king, once upon a time there was a queen.
In the museum there are many portraits of people who lived centuries ago: kings, queens, ladies, knights, great and small, each with their own story to tell! Once we've chosen the character we like best, we can create a personalized accessory and transform ourselves into a fairytale figure for an afternoon!

Friday, May 1, 2026 – 3:30 PM
Secrets revealed: mystery at the Museum!
The museum's paintings tell us so many stories, some fascinating and incredible, others everyday; sometimes they even bear witness to mysterious events… By learning to grasp all the clues the artist left us, will you be able to reconstruct what happened? Spirit of observation, but also a lot of imagination, are the ingredients we will need to solve a mysterious but fun “cluedo al museo”. And, at the end, we will all go to the laboratory to create a mysterious work!
