INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY - ICOM DAY 2026
On May 18, 2026, museums around the world will celebrate International Museum Day with the theme "Museums Unite a Divided World".
The theme underscores the potential of museums to serve as a bridge across cultural, social and geopolitical divides, promoting dialogue, understanding, inclusion and peace within and among communities around the world.
Museum@Family - Sunday, May 17 - 3:30 p.m.
With your eyes and with your hands, the museum to touch and explore! (Family Lab for families with children ages 3 to 11)
When we visit a museum, we are used to using mostly our eyesight... what about when that cannot be used? Let's discover together how to explore the Civic Museums with our other senses, getting help from special objects that will suggest different ways to learn about the works in the collection and a story that will accompany us room by room! After the sensory exploration, we will make a small souvenir of our experience using many different materials!
Costs:
- € 4 per person
- free for person with disabilities and 1 accompanying person, Musei Civici Monza Card holders.
Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Reservation required at www.museicivicimonza.it
