Paper Ritual
Group exhibition
From June 6 to June 20, the group exhibition "Paper Ritual" will be held at the exhibition space Association of Arts<>sta.
The participating artists are: Adele Biscaretti, Marina Comerio, Manuela Granziol, Patrizio Marigliano, Michela Massari and Anna Maria Scocozza.
The exhibition, curated by Rosella Fusi, will be presented by Francesca Cazzaniga, art historian.
The paper becomes ritual: a gesture that repeats itself, a material that transforms, a surface that holds intimate and collective traces. The project explores paper as ritual matter: a medium that records gestures, memories, intimacies, transformations.
Each artist activates a different ritual - folding, etching, sewing, layering, recycling, wearing - transforming the paper into a symbolic device.

On the occasion of the opening Saturday, June 6 at 6:45 p.m., there will be a talk by Angela Viola who will talk about Joanna Koërten, the woman artist who was worth more than Rembrandt.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
