On Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 9:15 PM, Montecalvo Versiggia will host a special concert dedicated to the history of Italian music—a flagship event of the Oltrepò Pavese summer music calendar. The performance will take place in the parish church square, a symbolic and evocative backdrop right in the heart of the "capital of Pinot Nero."

Organized by the Municipality of Montecalvo alongside Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione della Comunità della Provincia di Pavia, and the "Terra del Pinot Nero" Association, the event is part of the 2026 program for the Ultrapadum Festival. Among the historical promoters of the initiative is Giancarlo Vitali, Honorary President of Fondazione della Comunità Pavese and a long-standing key figure in the local cultural landscape.
