On Sunday, September 28, the long-awaited FAI DAY at Cigognola Castle returns, offering a unique opportunity to visit one of the most fascinating landmarks in the Oltrepò Pavese.

Originally built as a medieval fortress and later transformed into the residence of the Moratti family, the castle opens its doors to the public for a full day of guided tours. Visitors will discover its centuries-old history, the artworks it houses, and its most remarkable spaces, including the inner courtyard and several rooms elegantly decorated by Lorenzo Mongiardino, a master of architecture and design.

Tours will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Starting at 4:00 p.m., special tours with aperitivo will also be available, combining the cultural visit with a tasting of wines from the estate — a perfect encounter between history and the renowned winemaking tradition of Oltrepò Pavese.
