Christmas Markets in Bagnaria

After the great success of the previous editions, the Christmas Markets in the Medieval Village return on December 8, 2025, in Bagnaria, in the Oltrepò Pavese.

The picturesque medieval village of Bagnaria, nestled among the enchanting hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, is getting ready to host one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season: the Christmas Markets in the Medieval Village, taking place on Monday, December 8, 2025.

A magical day dedicated to tradition, good food, and local craftsmanship, perfect to experience the Christmas atmosphere in a unique historic setting.
With over 100 selected exhibitors, including artisans, artists, local producers, and hobbyists, the village streets will come alive with stalls offering unique objects, Christmas decorations, food and wine specialties, and handmade creations. An ideal opportunity to find the perfect gift or simply to immerse yourself in the festive spirit.

To make the atmosphere even more enchanting, the sound of bagpipes and traditional flutes accompanied by accordions will delight visitors along the way, creating a magical and engaging soundtrack.

The event will also be a celebration of local flavors.
From 12:30 to 3:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy delicious polenta with sausage sauce or gorgonzola, and throughout the day, there will be platters of cold cuts, warm sandwiches, homemade desserts, fritters, mulled wine, and roasted chestnuts.

Fun is guaranteed not only for adults but also for children. Inside Palazzo Malaspina, the association Boscovillaggio will hold creative workshops, while the girls of Silverado Ranch will offer pony rides for children who want to experience the thrill of horseback riding.

The afternoon will be made even more special thanks to Santa’s Village, where children will have the chance to meet Santa Claus himself.

At 4:00 p.m., in the beautiful setting of the Church of San Bartolomeo, there will be a not-to-be-missed free concert by the San Germano gospel choir—an opportunity to embrace the spirituality and harmony of the Christmas season.

The day will also be enriched by other activities, such as traditional old-time games scattered throughout the village, and the Secret Place Hunt, a treasure hunt to discover Bagnaria’s hidden and charming corners, where participants can win sweet prizes.
The grand finale will be the charity raffle draw, with prizes offered by local businesses and participating exhibitors.

For visitors, ample parking areas will be available:

• inside the municipal sports field (entrance from Via Peschiera),

• along Via 1° Maggio,

• along Via 4 Novembre.

Access for people with disabilities is recommended along Via XX Settembre (cemetery area).
