The Big Bench of Val di Nizza, in the Alto Oltrepò Pavese, is located in Località Costa, along Trail 80 of the Oratori, in the Poggio Ferrato district of the Val di Nizza municipality, at an altitude of 601 meters above sea level. It is 55 km from Pavia, 100 km from Milan, 90 km from Genoa, 145 km from Turin, and 60 km from Piacenza, near the intersection of the four regions, alongside the Valle Staffora, an ancient trade route between Lombardy and Liguria, known as the "Via del Sale."
