Rassegna della Zucca Berrettina 2026

On the first weekend of October, Lungavilla celebrates one of its most distinctive local products with the 17th Gastronomic Festival dedicated to Berrettina pumpkin, a traditional event that attracts food lovers, visitors and families from across the Province of Pavia and beyond.

Organised by the Pro Loco of Lungavilla, with the patronage of the Municipality of Lungavilla and Auser “Calcababbio”, the festival offers two days of food, music and entertainment.

Saturday, 3 October 2026

The festival begins at 6:30 pm with the “Non solo zucca” apericena, accompanied by live music. The event will take place in a fully indoor venue, ensuring a comfortable experience even in case of bad weather. Reservations are recommended by calling 338 706 3391.

Sunday, 4 October 2026

The day begins at 9:00 am with the opening of the km0 Market, a great opportunity to discover and purchase genuine local products from the Pavia area.

At 11:00 am, it is time for the “A tutta zucca” lunch, a complete menu from starter to dessert featuring Berrettina pumpkin, the star of Lungavilla’s culinary tradition. Seating allocation begins at 10:00 am and reservations are not required.

In the afternoon, at 3:30 pm, the spotlight turns to Diego Draghi and his “Fuori pista Street Show”, a lively street performance combining magic, comedy, balancing acts, juggling and, above all, improvisation.

The Berrettina Pumpkin Gastronomic Festival is an opportunity to discover and celebrate a traditional product of the Oltrepò Pavese area, deeply connected to the local agricultural heritage and rural culture.
