Nobili e Servi - A Lombard story 23/06
A story deeply tied to Villa Arconati, but which brings with it reflections on art and on the all-human desire to become, in one way or another, eternal.
Nobili e Servi - A Lombard story by Carlo Dones
A dialogue between a student and a professor takes us back to one of the most splendid moments of Villa Arconati di Bollate, whose history is intertwined with that of Count Galeazzo Arconati, who made it one of the most important residences in Northern Italy. History is accompanied by the personal history of the Count, a lover of art and deeply linked to the masterpieces he brought from all over Italy, including the statue of Pompey and Leonardo's Codex Atlanticus. A show that shows how the relationship between aristocrats and servants and the conflicts between family members influence history: a story deeply tied to Villa Arconati, but which brings with it reflections on art and on the human desire to become, in a way or in the other, eternal.
