Miradolo Terme Grape Festival 2026
September is a time for celebration in Miradolo Terme!
The Miradolo Terme Grape Festival returns on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, celebrating its 75th edition. Organised over two days by the Amici di Miradolo association, under the patronage of the Municipality of Miradolo Terme, the festival brings the town centre to life with a parade of traditional district costumes, food and wine stalls, exhibitions, a funfair and live music in the streets.
Sunday, the busiest day of the festival, also features a traditional grape-stomping demonstration and a food and wine walk through the town.
Saturday 19 September: opening dinner and live music
The celebrations begin gently on Saturday evening. A dinner is scheduled for 8:00 pm, and advance booking is recommended.
At 10:00 pm, the evening continues with live music by Dejavù, officially opening the celebrations for the festival's 75th anniversary.
Sunday 20 September: the highlight of the Miradolo Terme Grape Festival
Sunday is the main day of the festival, with events ranging from the morning parade to the fireworks that bring the celebrations to a close.
Morning: district parade and official opening
The day begins at 10:00 am with a parade featuring the traditional costumes of the town's districts, accompanied by a marching band. The parade starts from Bar Sole.
At 10:30 am, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony in Piazza IV Novembre marks the opening of the festival, accompanied by music from I Pedra.
Stalls, exhibitions and funfair throughout the day
From mid-morning onwards, the town fills with activities open to everyone, with no fixed schedule.
Visitors can browse the food and wine, handicraft and hobby stalls, enjoy the funfair in Piazza Unità d'Italia, and discover Pompieropoli at the Municipal Park, an activity area especially designed for children.
The programme also includes a static model-making and travel photography exhibition at the Municipal Gym, as well as a charity raffle held in the former cinema premises.
Afternoon: lunch, drones and grape stomping
Lunch is scheduled for 12:30 pm, with advance booking recommended.
The afternoon continues with a drone flight demonstration at the Sports Field at 3:00 pm, followed by traditional games in Piazza IV Novembre at 4:00 pm.
At 4:30 pm, one of the most characteristic moments of the festival takes place: the traditional grape-stomping demonstration, celebrating the harvest and giving the festival its name.
At 5:00 pm, the food and wine walk sets off from Piazza IV Novembre.
Evening: dinner, dancing and fireworks
The day ends around the dinner table, just as it began. Dinner at 8:00 pm requires advance booking.
At 9:00 pm, the Gigi Band takes the stage for an evening of dancing and music.
At 10:00 pm, a spectacular fireworks display brings the 75th edition of the Miradolo Terme Grape Festival to a close.
75 editions of a festival organised by the local community
The number is significant: 75 editions tell the story of a festival that has been kept alive over the years thanks to the volunteers of the Amici di Miradolo association.
The bands on stage and the activities for children may change from year to year, but the heart of the celebration remains the same: the grape harvest, represented by the morning district parade and the traditional grape-stomping demonstration in the afternoon.
