From October 3 to 19, the Immagimondo Festival returns to Lecco and several municipalities in the province. Travels, Places, Cultures.
Twelve days with over forty events, for a Festival that combines photography, observation of the territory, books, cinema, participatory events, urban walks, workshops for adults and children, and much more.
Immagimondo since 1997 has been a bridge between cultures. We tell stories of change: we talk about travel, places, encounters. Each edition creates connections, offers food for thought, inspires change.
The Festival is a space that gives voice to those who have something important to tell, to show, to share. Through a mixture of languages we offer reflections on important current issues such as respect for the Other, climate change, migration, the impact of tourism on the environment.
We talk about travel in a broad way, recounting that of people, but also of cultures, animals, plants, foods, goods and more.
Immagimondo is promoted by Les Cultures - Laboratory of International Culture, a nonpartisan, nonprofit association founded in 1993 in Lecco by 9 members from 7 different countries.
