Guided tours of Rocca d’Anfo
Alla scoperta della più grande fortezza Napoleonica
Guided tours are back, every year from april to october, at Rocca d’Anfo thanks to the partnership between “La Polveriera” Association and Pro Loco Anfo (Tourist Office).
Reservations can already be made on the official website of the Rocca; it is also possible to organise group tours (minimum 15 adults). There are three possible excursions, each lasting three hours:
- “From Serenissima to the Kingdom of Italy” – easy itinerary, suitable for families and those who do not usually hike;
- “Panoramic tour” – itinerary suitable for those who love mountain hikes. The tour includes a panoramic stop with beautiful view of Lake Idro;
- “Napoleon Tour” – itinerary aimed at more expert hikers who are passionate about art and military history, with possibility to visit the tunnels and the Observatory built under Napoleon.
Visit Rocca d’Anfo, the symbol of Lake Idro! The excursion requires suitable mountain gear and will run rain or shine, since most of the itinerary is inside buildings. Please note that every participant must wear a mask for protection.
Useful informationGuided tours depart from caserma Zanardelli (barracks) with 15 adult participants maximum. They are conducted in Italian (upon request, tours in English and German are also available).
Adult ticket: €10, children (5 to 15 years old): €5. Free for children under 5 years of age.
