Ferragosto Langoschese 2026
Two nights of live music, boiled meats and street food in Piazza Libertà in Langosco
On 14 and 15 August, Langosco, a small village in the lower Lomellina, comes alive for the traditional Ferragosto Langoschese: two evenings of live music and open-air dining organised by the local Pro Loco, under the patronage of the Municipality of Langosco. Covered seating, table service and no booking required: the festival takes place in Piazza Libertà, from 7.30pm.
Friday 14 August: Rigomagus Band and Bollito Misto
The festival opens with a live set from the Rigomagus Band. On the menu, the star dish of the evening is bollito misto (mixed boiled meats) served with its traditional side of vegetables: a hearty, convivial dish, perfect for a summer night in the square.
Saturday 15 August: Cristian Patarini and Street Food Specialities
Saturday's live music comes courtesy of Cristian Patarini. On the food side, the evening leans into street food, with meatballs in tomato sauce served in a paper cone: a more casual option, ideal for enjoying while strolling between the stalls.
The Festival Menu
Alongside each evening's signature dish, the full menu is available throughout the festival and includes: traditional starters, panissa (the classic rice-and-bean dish typical of the border area between the Lomellina and the Vercelli countryside), agnolotti, grilled meats and homemade pastries. Table service is provided, with a covered dining area available in case of rain.

Langosco, Amid the Rice Paddies of the Lomellina
Langosco is a small village in the lower Lomellina, set in the flat farmland between the Sesia and Po rivers, a land of rice paddies, maize fields and vineyards. It makes an ideal base for combining a village festival with a slow-travel weekend exploring the villages of the Lomellina, with their rural farmsteads and local cuisine rooted in centuries of agricultural tradition.
The Ferragosto Langoschese is the perfect opportunity to discover one of the many faces of the Province of Pavia: that of the simple, genuine village festival, where good music and good food meet in the square.
