Isimbardi Castle

A few dozen kilometers from Milan, in the fertile Lomellina region of rice and water, after extensive restoration work, the historic Castello Isimbardi has reopened its doors.

The medieval complex, dating back to the 12th century, is now a place open to art, solidarity, and both public and private events.

In the elegant rooms of Castello Isimbardi, time has stopped. But history continues...

The castle offers about a thousand square meters of space for visits and is home to exhibitions and events, as well as being an ideal location for weddings and private parties.

Enclosed by a wall, the vast 10,000-square-meter park with tall trees and flowers features stables, a pavilion, and a semi-open structure for barbecues, events, and aperitifs. There are also three separate rooms used as kitchens.

The complex includes a children's area equipped with games, a small house furnished in masonry, and a building housing six elegant restrooms, including some for children, with a central fountain surrounded by plants and background music.

In the park, there is also a building that houses an extraordinary testimony of Lomellina's past—a wooden micropile from 1930 that replicates the rice processing process (hulling of rice, separation of the husks, and whitening of the hulled rice).

The rooms are elegant and refined, featuring a large fireplace, a vaulted ceiling with exposed bricks, and granite pillars. A piano adds warmth to the atmosphere.

The stables can accommodate up to 100 seated people.

The park also hosts an elegant tensile structure connected to the nearby stables.

The structure, about 200 square meters in size, is available for weddings, events, exhibitions, and courses, and can accommodate up to 200 seated guests.
