"In Praise of the Lake" vintage prints at the Lake Como Landscape Museum in Tremezzina.
From Thursday, April 17, until August 31, 2025, the Lake Como Landscape Museum in Tremezzina, locality Tremezzo, will host the exhibition "In Praise of the Lake." A Journey to Rediscover Lake Como in the Bordoli Crivelli Visconti Collection.
This exhibition will present a selection of prints by Italian and international artists from the Bordoli Crivelli Visconti collection, allowing visitors to rediscover the lakeside through images of the various locations along its shores.
The exhibition, curated by Francesco Trippini, was created from the heirs to commemorate Giorgio Bordoli Crivelli Visconti, an economist and a chartered accountant. He was a renowned scholar of history, iconography, and literature, and over the course of his career he built an extensive collection of prints of Lake Como from the 16th to the 19th centuries, comprising over eight hundred pieces.

The exhibition can be visited whrn the Museum is open, from Thursday to Sunday, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
