Infopoint Turistico Angera

The office, which obtained in 2018 the accreditation of Infopoint Turistico di Regione Lombardia, provides tourist information about the urban, provincial and regional area (through the use of internet, local databases, mail, newsletter etc.).

We inform about: services, accommodation and catering, cultural events, exhibitions, historical artistic itineraries in Angera and surroundings.

Promotion of the territory and its excellence

The Tourist Info Point enhances and promotes the identity of territory, its main historical attractions and the current and future initiatives, which take place in town and surroundings. In Spring and Summer, when the office is open, we organize and promote guided tours to discover art, history and nature of Angera, its activities and local products. The excursions, with various destinations, are planned for different age of participants and levels of training.

Communication

In low season the website www.angera.it, social network AngeraTurismo Page and VisitAngera Instagram are active too and you also can stay in contact with us by subscribing to the fortnightly newsletter. The website is constantly updated with information, description of sites and events.

Bike rental and assistence services fir cyclists

In Summer, upon reservation you can rent city, mountains, e-bike, helmet, children’s seat, padlocks. We are a Bike Info Point and a small kit, supplied by Agenda 21 Laghi, is also available for small maintenance by cycle tourists. At the Tourist Infopoint you can find hiking maps, cycling routes and information we get from: Varesedoyoubike, Agenda21Laghi, in Bici in Lombardia, Lombardia in Bicicletta, Riserva MAB Ticino Val Grande Verbano, Parco del Ticino, GPS Varese. The Infopoint has the stamp Bike in Lombardy if you want to record the stages of your journey in your travel passport.

At the tourist shop you can find small gadgets identifying the town.
