Lake Como Villas

1-hour tour of the first and second basins of Lake Como: we’ll start from the town center and we’ll sail along the eastern shore of Como branch, admiring villages of Blevio and Torno and their villas.
In front of of Moltrasio, we’ll cross the lake in the narrowest point of Como branch, we’ll descend along the western shore and we’ll return to Como.
In the 2-hour tour, we’ll sail along the eastern shore to Torno, we’ll round the cape and we’ll continue to Villa Pliniana, then we’ll cross the lake to reach Laglio, we’ll pass in front of Villa Oleandra, owned by the actor George Clooney and we’ll sail down the western shore for our return to Como.

The boat
MIZAR III is a fascinating 10-meter vintage motoryacht entirely made of wood by Cantieri Navali Picchiotti of Viareggio in 1961 and launched in 1962.
An extremely comfortable cabin cruiser equipped with a large cockpit with table and seats, an agreable sundeck in the bow with mattresses and cushions, a large dinette with a table that can be converted into bunks, a 2-seater master cabin, kitchenette and bathroom.
The boat, the first and only of its kind on Lake Como, accomodates up to 6 people, besides the crew.
We will sail in maximum comfort, at a cruising speed of 8 knots in order to calmy enjoy the beauties of Lake Como.
