Mineralogical and Natural History Museum
Alandmark for mineral enthusiasts, the Mineralogical Museum was founded in 1972 on the initiative of Edy Romani.
The exhibit features more than 14,000 crystals and minerals mainly from the surrounding valleys and mountains but also from around the world.
The museum consists of two sections: next to the room dedicated to the display of stones there is a large naturalistic area where there is the accurate reconstruction of the mountain environment with the typical flora and fauna of this area.
Attached to the museum is also the craft workshop where the processing, strictly manual, of hard stones takes place, which can be purchased directly for an unusual gift or even, simply, as a souvenir of the day spent in this true temple of minerals.
