Tremosine, is a village where the charm of nature appeases the spirit and life flows simply and quietly, following the rhythm of the seasons. Eighteen hamlets: one on the Riviera, the others scattered on a bustling plateau, set on hillocks of incomparable panoramic beauty overlooking the entire Garda. Tremosine lies in the heart of the Alto Garda Bresciano Park.
Between mountains and lake, between Alpine and Mediterranean, lies the green plateau of Tremosine. Opposite, across the lake, the grandeur of Mount Baldo. Astonishing is the "Forra" road that runs along the deep gorge of the Brasa stream, sometimes carved into the rock and sometimes cantilevering over overhangs that leave one amazed.
At its opening in 1913, a correspondent of the Frankfurter Zeitung called it "the most beautiful road in the world." Driving along it, in just a few minutes one goes from the liveliness of the Gardesana Riviera to the tranquility of the plateau, from whose terraces overlooking the lake nature shows man all its splendor. From the "Thrill Terraces," suspended 350 meters above the lake, the view takes your breath away. And as evening falls, discover the delights of simple refined cuisine.
