THE VILLAGE OF PIEVE DI TREMOSINE- THE TERRACES

The Village of Pieve di Tremosine is one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy". A limited number of villages that are distinguished by beautiful scenery belong to this prestigious "club". Pieve is located on top of a cliff carved out by glaciers. Garda is 65 m above sea level, the main town is 423 m above sea level. For centuries, one of the most beautiful paths in the world, the Path of the harbour, has brought them together and you can still go and enjoy a breath-taking view and be caressed by the breeze that comes from the lake. At sunset, when the plain, at the bottom, turns fire red, the cluster of houses around the Castle and church welcomes you into its narrow streets and protects you.
