Varzi Festival 2025

From September 3 to 7, 2025, the Varzi Festival returns, the cultural event that every year brings the medieval village of Varzi, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese, to life. Five days of shows, concerts, and meetings with nationally renowned artists, set against the greenery of Parco di Villa Mangini and the evocative Church of San Germano Vescovo.

The festival opens on Wednesday, September 3 at 8:30 PM with writer Fulvio Abbate in conversation with artist Marco Lodola, followed by the show “Femmes Fatales” by Violante Placido, accompanied by Dario Ciffo, Puccio Panettieri, and Sebastiano Forte.

On Thursday, September 4 at 9:30 PM, Noemi will perform in Varzi with her Nostalgia Summer Tour, presented in a special “Live Piano and Voice” version – an intimate and engaging concert retracing her most beloved songs.

On Friday, September 5 at 9:30 PM, music and words intertwine with actress Pamela Villoresi and pianist Danilo Rea in In Terra, an intense tribute to Valeria Moretti.

Saturday, September 6 will feature classical music in the Church of San Germano Vescovo with I Barocchisti, conducted by Diego Fasolis, and mezzo-soprano Lucia Cirillo in In Furore, a programme dedicated to the music of Antonio Vivaldi.

The Varzi Festival 2025 will close on Sunday, September 7 with Paolo Ciavaro and the Quick Visit – The Festival for Walking Routes format, created with Giorgia Ricotti, guiding the audience through the natural, cultural, and gastronomic treasures of the Oltrepò Pavese.

All events are free admission until capacity is reached.
