Ulysses Ensamble
Concert
The Dutch Ulysses Ensemble is a true traveling symphony orchestra, bringing music directly to people in town squares and the most unexpected places.
Composed of 43 musicians from the Netherlands and conducted by Finnish Maestro Jussi Jaatinen, the ensemble was founded with the goal of making music accessible to everyone, outside of traditional concert venues.&
During the summer, the Ulysses Ensemble tours across Europe, performing in town squares, churches, theaters, and surprising locations such as mountains, beaches, and other spaces where live music is not normally heard. The repertoire ranges from Baroque to classical music, from opera to jazz, from tango to folk music
Music by Verdi, Puccini, and many other Italian composers
