Festival della Fotografia Etica 2025

In Lodi, you can already feel a special energy that accompanies the preparations for the 16th edition of the Festival of Ethical Photography.

Behind the scenes, the staff is working to build a path made of images, emotions and stories. Necessary stories, which too often remain outside the spotlight of traditional media, but which deserve to be seen, heard, understood.

Not just exhibitions, but also guided tours, author talks, book presentations, portfolio readings, video projections, educational programs.

And all this happens in a special place: Lodi, a town on a human scale, where time seems to slow down, allowing visitors to immerse themselves calmly and attentively in each exhibition, in each story, listening to what is happening in the world from the photographers' own voice.

This year, 1,002 photographers participated with almost 1,158 photographic works from 80 different countries.

The winners of the World Report Award 2025:

• Federico Ríos with the reportage Paths of Desperate Hope for the Master Award section.
• Cinzia Canneri with the reportage Women’s Bodies as Battlefields, special mention of the jury for the Master Award section.
• Diego Fedele with the reportage In The Shadow of a Deadly Sky for the Spotlight Award section.
• Loay Ayyoub with the reportage The Tragedy of Gaza for the Short Story Award section.
• Md Zobayer Hossain Joati with the reportage We Live to Fight for the Student Award section.
• Julius Nieweler with the reportage Whispers Say: “War is Coming”, special mention of the jury for the Student Award section.
• Afshin Ismaeli with the image The Price of War for the Single Shot Award section.

The top 32 in the Single Shot category will be awarded with participation in an exhibition displayed at the 2025 Edition of the Festival of Ethical Photography.
