A journey through the first 50 years of the Lecco CAI among images and documents
The panels in the exhibition faithfully reproduce, through old shots, maps, prints and drawings, some of the most significant pages of the book, starting with the memory of the noble fathers of the Lecco CAI: Antonio Stoppani, Mario Cermenati, Giovanni Pozzi, Giuseppe Ongania and many other lesser-known faces, but they too were part of the great mountaineering movement that crossed Europe in the second half of the 19th century, generating in various countries the birth of alpine clubs.
