Villa Visconti Venosta
The residenceof the illustrious Visconti Venosta family and characterized by a vast garden (20,000 sq m), the building has a central body with a portico surmounted by a loggia and two wings.
The 'left wing constitutes the oldest part of the palace (17th) while the central body and the right area are of 19th-century construction.
The interior of the building contains noteworthy rooms, including a Renaissance-inspired hall where valuable furniture, paintings and objects are kept.
After the palace was donated to the Municipality of Grosio in 1982 by Marchesa Margherita Pallavicino Mossi, the building became a museum, home tothe municipal library and Pro Loco.
