Il Trofeo Vanoni è una gara internazionale di corsa in montagna: individuale per le donne e per i giovani, a staffetta di tre elementi per gli uomini. I giovani (under 18) gareggiano nel centro storico di Morbegno, gli adulti sui sentieri e mulattiere sovrastanti Morbegno con GPM in località Arzo a 750 metri slm.

All’evento partecipano circa 1000 atleti provenienti da Galles, Inghilterrra, Scozia, Francia, Svizzera, Slovenia, Polonia, Spagna, Repubblica di San Marino, Irlanda e Repubblica Ceca.

Le caratteristiche uniche del Trofeo Vanoni sono: la formula a staffetta, la presenza di un pubblico numerosissimo e appassionato, un percorso tecnico e spettacolare, la partenza e l’arrivo nella centralissima via Vanoni a Morbegno.
