Solo Exhibition by Pino Di Gennaro
In conjunction with “ARS NATURAE,” the exhibition hosted at the Civic Museums, where three works by Pino Di Gennaro from the *Foresta Nomade* series are on display, Arti<>sta is pleased to inaugurate “IN CONTEMPORANEA,” a solo exhibition dedicated to the most intimate and experimental work of master artist Pino Di Gennaro. The presence of the three lost-wax bronze works within Ars Naturae establishes a direct dialogue with the polychrome sculptures exhibited by Arti<>sta: a comparison between the tree-like verticality of the bronze and the more intimate, material, and abstract dimension of the smaller-scale works.
IN CONTEMPORANEA offers a panorama of polychrome sculptures, a precious collection that allows viewers to engage with the artist’s work through materials other than bronze: papier-mâché, wax, pigments, and surfaces that reveal the artist’s versatility and his inexhaustible ability to transform humble materials into poetic, vibrant forms, suspended between nature and abstraction.
These intimate works reveal the most experimental dimension of his artistic vision: forms that emerge and dissolve, fragments that seem to emerge from an inner landscape, presences that embody the tension between nature, spirituality, gesture, and metamorphosis.
