Sagra dell’Anatra

Ceretto Lomellina is getting ready to host the 48th Sagra dell’Anatra – the Duck Festival – running from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2026 in Piazza Ragazzi del ’99. Organised by the Comitato Folkloristico Tuttinsieme, which in 2026 marks twenty years of activity since 2004, the festival is the most eagerly awaited food event of the summer for this small village at the heart of the Lomellina rice paddies, with three evenings built around good food, live music and charity.

The Menu

The star of the show is, naturally, duck, in recipes that draw visitors from across the province every year: roast duck, duck ragù and duck porchetta, a speciality made in-house by the Comitato Tuttinsieme, alongside many other festival dishes. The restaurant is open every evening from 7:30pm to 11pm, with midday opening on Sunday too. Every evening, a charity stall run by the parish is also set up.

The Evening Programme

Good food comes with live music, as always. On Friday 4 September, Gianmarco Bagutti takes the stage with his “Nati per Rialzarsi Tour 2026”; on Saturday 5 September it’s the turn of the Elite Band; and on Sunday 6 September the festival closes in style with “La Noche Latina”, a Latin American-themed evening of rhythm, passion and fun.

It’s a chance to discover one of the most authentic villages in the Lomellina, between country tradition, good food and a community that has come together with the same enthusiasm for twenty years to put on one of the area’s best-loved festivals.
