On the first weekend of October, Lungavilla celebrates one of its most typical products with the 16th Gastronomic Festival of Zucca Berrettina, a traditional event that every year attracts food lovers, families, and visitors from all over the Province of Pavia and beyond.

Organized by the Pro Loco of Lungavilla with the support of the Municipality and Auser “Calcababbio”, the festival offers two days of food, music, and entertainment.

Saturday, October 4, 2025
The festival opens at 6:30 pm with an aperitif-dinner featuring a variety of dishes “not only pumpkin,” accompanied by live folk music performed by Gufolk. The event takes place indoors, ensuring comfort even in case of bad weather. Reservations are recommended at +39 338 70 63 391.

The day begins at 9:00 am with the opening of the Km0 Market, where visitors can discover and purchase local, genuine products from the Pavia countryside.

At 12:00 pm, the spotlight turns to the “All About Pumpkin” lunch, a full menu from starter to dessert featuring the famous Zucca Berrettina, the queen of Lungavilla’s culinary tradition. Seating will be assigned starting from 10:00 am, and no reservations are required.

In the afternoon, at 3:30 pm, the Duo Zanapia will entertain the audience with their lively street show “Mi sa che tocca a noi”, bringing fun and laughter for both adults and children.
