WALKING WITH...ANSELMO
Anselmo Bucci is a great painter who lived in Monza for a long time; many of his paintings are on display in the temporary exhibition and in the museum at this time. Anselmo was a great traveler and painted many different means of transportation in his works, from bicycles to airplanes! We'll take a tour to discover all the vehicles he drew and then, in the workshop, we'll dedicate a portrait to him aboard the vehicle we like best!

Looking for the puppies
Between the exhibits in the exhibition and in the museum there are many animals: we will go looking for them all together, then we will use many different materials to create our favorite puppy... it can be a real animal, but why not invent a fantastic animal or even a monster puppy?

BRIVIDGE ART
Brrr, it's cold! If it's freezing outside, let's go looking for the warmest and most suitable winter clothing among the museum's characters and discover how different fabrics and materials have been used over the centuries to protect against the cold. In the workshop we paint our own character and dress him or her in warm cotton balls and velvety fabrics.

A WORLD IN RYES!
They look like drawings but... they are engravings! When photography had not yet been invented, this was the best way to show others lots of things and illustrate fairy tales and stories.Let's visit the exhibition and discover how many stories of friendship, love and feelings are hidden in the works made with this technique! At the end in the workshop we will also try to illustrate our favorite scene with the special technique of hatching.

The prints on display in the exhibition are almost all in black and white, but nothing prohibits us from reproducing them and coloring them as we like! Let's choose our favorite scene and bring it to life: we can color the clothes, add details, build fantastic landscapes within which to make our characters move! In the end, we will have an absolutely personalized work!

The COLORS OF DARKNESS
Painting the night is not at all easy: what can you see and what can't? How do colors change after the sun sets? In the museum visit, we will observe the strategies used by painters to "show in the dark" and observe, like real artists, the color palettes with which the night effect can be created, thus discovering that it's easy to say dark! Finally, we will try our hand at a workshop in the creation of an evocative landscape at dusk.
