The Vineyard Historic
On Sunday, April 12, starting at 06:45 a.m. in Piazza Cavour in Rovato, the fifth edition of "La VignaStorica," the cyclostorica in the heart of Franciacorta, will take place. The start is scheduled at 09:00 am.
The event was born from the passion for cycling in all its forms, with the intention of being a free ride along secondary asphalt and dirt roads, tying sport to the wine and food tradition thanks to the refreshments placed along the route, in the most representative villages of Franciacorta.
The route, starting and finishing in Rovato's historic Piazza Cavour, consists this year of two routes, both free pedaling, along the roads and rolling moraine hills of Franciacorta, passing through the following towns: Rovato, Erbusco, Clusane d'Iseo, Adro and Corte Franca. The short route, 38 km and with an elevation gain of 450m, includes three refreshment points and a final lunch. The long route, 58 km and with an elevation gain of 700m, includes four refreshment points and a final lunch.
