Como Città della Musica Festival

SUNDAY 28 JUNE – SUNDAY 12 JULY 2020

The XIII edition of the Como Città della Musica Festival, special edition, Note in Villa, is scheduled from Sunday 28 June to Sunday 12 July 2020, for 15 non-stop days, in 3 locations (inauguration at Villa Olmo on Sunday 28 June and the day to follow, Monday 29 June): a first week in Villa del Grumello (from Tuesday 30 June to Monday 6 July), a second week in Villa Erba (from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 July).

36 shows on the bill, on a daily basis, intended for different audience targets, with programming on the ropes of the Teatro Sociale di Como / AsLiCo, made possible thanks to the consolidation of important collaborations with four local institutions: the Municipality of Como, the Municipality of Cernobbio, the Association Villa del Grumello and Villa Erba.

The Festival opens with the concert of the pianist Orazio Sciortino, to perform music by Franz Liszt, Gioachino Rossini, Robert Schumann, on Sunday 28 June at Villa Olmo, where, in the very first years, starting in 2008, the festival, still in its infancy, began to take the first steps, trying to bring music outside the canonical walls of the Theater, to populate city places, dear not only to those who reside there, but also very loved by tourists or visitors, home to several editions of some Around the Festival.

All shows are free admission but with reservations required, also to comply with the rules dictated by the order of the Lombardy Region n.556 of 12/06/2020.
Reservations can be registered starting from Tuesday 23 June 2020, online www.teatrosocialecomo.com or at the ticket office of the Social Theater of Como (entrance from Piazza Verdi) at the following times: from Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 13.00.

In case of rain, the events scheduled in the park of Villa Olmo will be held inside Villa Olmo, while those scheduled in the parks of Villa del Grumello and Villa Erba will take place in the Sala Bianca, Teatro Sociale di Como; instead, in case of bad weather, the dawn concerts will be canceled.
Furthermore, in case of favorable weather conditions, other places can be made available both online and at the ticket office, on the day of the shows, always in compliance with the regulations.
