From October 3 to 6, 2025, the Palazzo Esposizioni in Pavia will turn into a unique stage celebrating taste, innovation, and local traditions with Autunno Pavese 2025, the most important food and wine fair in Pavia.

Now in its 71st edition, the event is much more than a traditional fair: it is a true manifesto of identity and quality. Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona-Mantua-Pavia through the special agency Paviasviluppo, Autunno Pavese confirms the central role of Pavia’s food and wine heritage as a driver of cultural, economic, and tourism promotion.

A Journey Through Taste: Local Producers and Food Excellence

The beating heart of Autunno Pavese 2025 is the exhibition area, hosting more than 50 stands dedicated to the entire local agri-food chain. Visitors will have the chance to explore and taste:

• Wines and spirits: ambassadors of Pavia’s wine-growing tradition.

• Rice and cereals: the excellence that makes the province famous worldwide.

• Cold cuts, cheeses, and mushrooms: authentic flavors of local gastronomy.

• Craft beers, sweets, honey, and jams: the best of artisanal production.

The iconic Risotto Area returns this year, enriched by the collaboration with local Culinary Institutes, offering dishes that combine creativity with tradition, featuring the renowned Carnaroli Pavese rice.

Autunno Pavese will feature a rich program of cooking shows, themed masterclasses, and workshops, offering visitors the opportunity to learn secrets directly from chefs and artisans.

What’s New in 2025

The 2025 edition introduces several exciting novelties:

• Pavia Mixology: a new area dedicated to cocktails made with local ingredients, including tastings, open classes, and the first cocktail competition featuring Pavia-inspired drinks.

• The Taste Square: open kitchens offering freshly prepared dishes for visitors.

• Autumn Tastings: finger food and creative pairings that highlight local products in surprising ways.

• Photo Exhibition: 50 photographs selected from a competition dedicated to the historical re-enactment of the Battle of Pavia.

• Digital Workshop: on Monday, October 6, a training session organized by the Punto Impresa Digitale focused on e-commerce and AI strategies for agri-food businesses.

Autunno Pavese Tour: September 13 – October 19

Completing the fair is the Autunno Pavese Tour, a program of experiences spread across the province. From September 13 to October 19, 2025, wineries, farms, and restaurants in the areas of Oltrepò Pavese, Lomellina, and Pavese will host tastings, guided tours, and special events.

This extended calendar involves more than 250 producers, offering a deeper way to explore both the flavors and the landscapes of Pavia.
