Alpi Sonanti - Tribute to Morricone - Gravedona ed Uniti

Wednesday, August 19, at 9.00 pm, the churchyard of St. Maria del Tiglio Church in Gravedona ed Uniti will host the 'Tribute to Morricone - Because tributes make us happier', one of the events of the 14th edition of the Alpi Sonanti Festival.

The trio, formed by Ivana Zecca (clarinet), Jorge A. Bosso (cello) and Sergio Vecerina (piano), will be performing.
The Trio presents a space of remembrance to celebrate one of the most significant composers in the world of cinema, as interpreted by Massimo Barsotti. Claudia Cardinale’s gaze, Robert De Niro’s final smile, Philippe Noiret’s words of wisdom, and James Coburn’s irreverent spirit are forever linked to Ennio Morricone’s evocative, ever-dreamlike musical brushstrokes. Once Upon a Time in the West, Once Upon a Time in America, Cinema Paradiso and Duck, You Sucker!  are just some of the soundtracks that have already become part of our lives, because many of us have allowed them to be so. The Trio presents reinterpretations of the Roman composer’s legacy because a tribute to him is essential, and because tributes make us happier.
