The 25th April bank holiday is just before the last weekend in the month and adds an extra day off you can enjoy in Lombardy. Food and Wine Weekends in Lombardy
In a Region with 264 traditional products - 34 with PDO and PGI certification - and 13 Slow Food presidia, there is definitely an opportunity to put this weekend to good use, travelling among the delights and unique flavours of Lombardy. Traditional wine making will take you on a tour of the great varieties on a trip around the region’s wineries, discovering grapes, vines and DOC wines, from well known varieties others, just waiting to be discovered. Or you can follow the taste route on board the Treno dei Sapori for a tasting journey on one of the vast choice of itineraries between Brescia and Pisogne.

Castle open day 2024 – Various provinces - 25th April 2024
24 castles, palazzos and villages in the Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona and Milan areas open their doors to offer you a taste of the Middle Ages, with history, traditions, art and architecture.

Soncino Festival 2024 – Rocca di Soncino (CR) - 25th April 2024
The splendid Rocca di Soncino welcomes young and old to its 13th Soncino Fantasy, an event completely dedicated to the fantasy universe and to one of its key worlds, that of The Lord of the Rings.
