25th April Weekend in Lombardy

Why not get out and explore? You can organise some unforgettable days out with a wide range of interesting activities.

At the end of this first month in Spring, we all want to get out and enjoy the sunshine, the surroundings, and some great food.

The 25th April bank holiday is just before the last weekend in the month and adds an extra day off you can enjoy in Lombardy. Choose from days out of town, with sunshine, great settings, and exhibitions for young and old alike, or take the opportunity to enjoy typical cuisine and raise a glass to the coming summer, with events to suit all tastes.

If you’d rather keep both feet on the ground, then you can choose 6 easy routes with children, for mountain walks suited to all ages. The more adventurous among you can find an adrenaline rush just around the corner, with these 5 action sport destinations to explore if you are looking for sailing, canoeing and plenty of other thrills. Art and Culture on 25th April
The thirst for knowledge doesn’t take a holiday, especially in the ever-inquisitive minds of children. Here we have 6 interactive museums to stimulate the imagination and creativity of little visitors, from Varese to Milan, and from Brescia to Pavia. It is also a great opportunity to feel king or queen for the day, taking your imagination on a walk through the past, while touring the 7 castles to visit at least once in a lifetime. Or, if you want to seek out the more hidden beauties of tradition, authenticity and typical architecture, then why not visit the 26 of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in Lombardy?

Food and Wine Weekends in Lombardy
In a Region with 264 traditional products - 34 with PDO and PGI certification - and 13 Slow Food presidia, there is definitely an opportunity to put this weekend to good use, travelling among the delights and unique flavours of Lombardy.
